Valerie has been an animal lover all her life. As a child she always longed for a dog, but this was sadly not to be until years later when she was married with children of her own. She has now owned dogs for over 40 years, and has been breeding and showing for 30 years.

More recently she has begun to judge at dog shows around the country. Valerie started her dog grooming business 30 years ago.

 

'I started dog grooming when my children were small as it was something that I loved to do but still allowed me to be at home with my family. I loved the job then and still would not want to do anything else.’

 

Dogs need help getting rid of their dead coat.  Matted hair pulls on the dogs skin and can be painful so it is important to keep them matt-free. A groomed dog is a looked after, loved and happy pooch!
